Study Confirms: 91% Negative Media Coverage Against President Trump

You don’t have to watch a “mainstream” newscast longer than a few minutes to see how rotten and reckless they are with the narrative and presentation on any story involving President Trump. This type of recklessness has led to some retractions and reporters being fired, and you’d think maybe news outlets would want to save some of their diminishing credibility, but, no, they don’t.

The Media Research Center’s watchdog arm NewsBusters has studied the numbers and found an overwhelming 91% of media coverage, concerning the President, is negative:

President Trump negative media coverage

Details from the study:

Since Inauguration Day (January 20), Media Research Center analysts have reviewed every mention of President Trump and top administration officials on ABC’s World News Tonight, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News, including weekends. As of August 31, coverage of the administration has totaled nearly 74 hours (4,418 minutes) of airtime, or about 39 percent of all evening news coverage.

For comparison purposes, coverage of the Obama administration in all of 2015 and 2016 totaled 59 hours (3,544 minutes), or roughly 10 percent of the available broadcast airtime. In other words, Trump has already received more coverage in his first 224 days in office than Obama received in his final two years as President.

Analyzing the networks’ spin makes it clear that the goal of all of this heavy coverage is not to promote the President, but to punish him. In June, July and August, broadcast evening news coverage of Trump was 91 percent negative — worse than the astounding 89 percent negative spin we calculated during the first three months of the administration, usually a traditional honeymoon period for new presidents.

That’s an astonishing amount of negative coverage, yet it doesn’t change the fact that President Trump has a deep connection with huge numbers of Americans who see the need for draining the swamp. The media is still hurting over their preferred candidate’s loss and it’s so easy to continue harping on the President rather than do real journalism.

The real kicker is how the media loves to hate Trump, yet they continue talking about him for ratings. It’s a love-hate relationship where they need to put his name on the screen so people will watch. This is mostly the reason why I started Daily Trump News, to cut through the media spin and deliver another voice publishing good things about our President. The more and more we speak up, as citizens, the more difficult it is to be drowned out by the bias liberal media.

Just remember, this is how wrong the media is:

One of my all-time favorite videos right there. It’s good to watch when you need cheering up.
